Dr. Emil Fadel, O.D.

Dr. Emil Fadel received a B.S. Degree in Vision Science and a Doctorate Degree in Therapeutic Optometry. Dr. Fadel moved to South Texas from Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2003 where he was working with a group of Ophthalmologists to start his own clinic. His practice soon became one of the busiest in the area; his offices covered a large area, from McAllen to Mission, Pharr, Edinburg, and Brownsville. He developed strong expertise in ocular disease treatment and specialized contact lens fitting. His service is unparalleled and his experience in all of the latest contact lenses and technology available is vast. Dr Fadel loves to fit all kinds of challenging cases from high Astigmatism, Multifocals and Mono vision. Dr. Fadel is a winner of two National Recognition Awards that were published in 2011. Dr Fadel was certified by IER for the fitting and management of overnight Orthokeratology, a proven method in the prevention of progressive myopia in children. He has 10 years of experience in managing Lasik patients, and has also provided care to over 18,000 patients. He is constantly taking continuing education classes and attending seminars to stay current with new up-to-date treatments and technology. He is always seeking the latest technologies in the treatment and prevention of ocular diseases such as Glaucoma, age related macular degeneration and retinal pathology. Dr. Fadel is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometry Association. He is a proud provider of the OneSight eye program, which is dedicated to improving vision for those in need around the world and here in our own community.
